Schools Out For Summer- Voice

Voice #1: "Down paragraph"

Pound Pound. My head felt like it was going to explode. Why did my body hate me? All I wanted to do was survive the last day of school without going insane. Everybody calls me that. Insane. I'm the insane girl who got in a car accident, and whose parents died right in front of her face. That's me.

Although I went to a lot of hospital treatments, none of them helped me. All they did was make my head hurt worse. They told me that I was off my nuts, but they would help me by shocking me. It didn't work. Now I'm in pain. A lot of pain.

I sauntered down the stairs and saw my big sister waiting for me to get into the car. Even though she goes to high school, not middle school like me, she has to drive me. I used to take the bus, but people bothered me, so she drives me now.

My sister, Lily, is the kind of girl that is all blond hair, and has boys drooling over her all day. I have short, limp, lifeless dirty blond hair that hangs at my shoulders, and refuses to grow any longer. I hopped in the car and inhaled the musky air. It made me cough.

Even though it was the last day of school, I was not excited for the summer. I hated the sun and the beach. I preferred the winter. I loved the snow. My sister cranked up the radio to the point that it made the car shake. I covered my ears, which made my sister laugh. I swear it, she enjoys my pain.

Voice #2: "Upbeat Paragraph"

Ring! Ring! The second I heard my alarm clock go off, I jumped out of bed. On my way to the bathroom, I let out a squeal of excitement. It was the last day of school, and I could not wait for summer.

I was the most popular girl at my school. I had a lot of friends, a great boyfriend and of course I was adorable!

I turned on my straightener and ran it through my chest-length blond hair. I pushed my side bangs to the side, and ran back to my room. When I slowly opened my closet door, thinking about what I would look gorgeous in, I saw the perfect dress. It was a Marc Jacobs of course. I paired this violet coloured dress with my strappy, white and black shoes that had purple rhinestones on them.

When I did a once-over in the mirror, I grabbed my Prada hand bag and dashed out the door, and into my car. My car is a light purple 300c. I got it last year for my 16th birthday from Daddy.

As I pulled out of the drive way I cranked up the radio, and swiped some lip gloss on my lips. When my favourite song came on, I started singing.

I love the summer so much! When I go to the beach with my friends, we always have a blast laying on the beach playing Would You Rather. My favourite part of the summer is getting a nice, natural tan.

I looked up at the sun through my DC glasses, and saw the sun blazing. This was going to be the best summer ever!
