Sentence Openers Paragraph

While I was telling my mom a story on the way to piano, the awkwardest moment of my life happened:
The car pulled to a stop at the red light. Beside us, a white car stopped too. Inside of it were 3 passengers, who were all about 14 or 15 years of age. They all stared, and waved. Embarrassed, I turned my head, while my mom said, "Oh, their cute! And their smiling at you too!". Quickly, the white car sped away, all of the guys kept starring at me. Pushing her foot to the gas pedal, my mom tried to keep up. Although my mom stopped at the red light, the white car kept going. I never saw them again.
